Zero waste design begins with geometric shapes that form a puzzle. Cutting and draping pieces are performed on a mannequin to test the final product.
Traceable production provides everyone with the ability to track and trace each component that goes into a product, from its suppliers all the way through to manufacturing.
Meet Camilla Carrara, founder and designer of ZEROBARRACENTO, a brand specialising in sustainable clothing.

Defining ZEROBARRACENTO
We are committed to reducing waste and environmental impact. In our production process, we use only Italian fabrics made with sustainability in mind. We are zero waste and we are cento% sustainable, made in Italy, and transparent with production. We are genderless, ageless, and timeless.
Our Mission
Our design mission at ZEROBARRACENTO has always been centred on sustainability and zero waste. We work to expand this attention into sustainable materials and eco-packaging techniques through careful selection of suppliers. Small brands have the opportunity to control every step of their supply chains, resulting in high levels of traceability.
Recognition of Achievements
In 2020, ZEROBARRACENTO was selected by the WORTH Partnership Project as the only European project where designers, small and medium-sized enterprises, manufacturers, and suppliers can collaborate to develop innovative business ideas. This recognition led to ZEROBARRACENTO winning the second prize in the Sustainable Contest Montecarlo Fashion Week in 2021. Additionally, according to Vogue Talents' June 2021 report, this brand is on Camera Moda's list of best-emerging designers who are being considered for their Designer for Planet project during Milan Fashion Week.
